EUROWATCH Recovery can be utilised in any country where there is sufficient legal framework for it to operate effectively (and law enforcement to back this up), including countries outside of the EUROWATCH area. In the last 12 months vehicles have been recovered from countries as diverse as Bosnia, Jordan, Macedonia, Morocco, Moldova, Russia, Turkey and the Ukraine.

Using a ‘Power of Attorney’ signed by the subscriber (or the insurer), EUROWATCH will take the necessary legal and practical steps to secure the asset and return possession to the owner. This is always done by working with the proper authorities in the country and with due regard to local laws and regulations. EUROWATCH has to assemble whatever documentation is required to prove that the offence took place in the country/jurisdiction where it is alleged to have occurred and that the subscriber or insurer, whom it is representing, is the rightful owner. It must then secure whatever authority is needed to take possession of the asset safely and repatriate it home.

Any Subscriber or their insurer may use EUROWATCH Recovery. However, it is additional to the EUROWATCH service and has a separate contract and charging structure that is agreed in advance.
